Meaning-Text Theory Conferences

Conférences internationales sur la Théorie Sens-Texte  ·  2003 – 2013

The International Conferences on Meaning-Text Theory brought together researchers working on Igor Mel'čuk's Meaning-Text Theory: a dependency-based, stratificational model of language relating meanings to texts through a chain of representations, with the lexicon — and in particular lexical functions — at its heart.

Six MTT conferences were held between 2003 and 2013. They are a direct predecessor of the Depling conferences: from 2011 on, MTT and Depling were held together, and the dependency-linguistics community they had gathered continued under the Depling name. All proceedings remain available here.
